Soucal/OC Looking for a source for STOCK air filters

Dealer wnat $27 for the part.

Local auto shops, pep boys, kraen, et al don't even show a part number for the stock air filter.

I don't want to go for an aftermarket, I'd just like to replace the part.

Anyone have a local source, or a more (much more) resaonable dealer price?

Any particular reason why you don't want to go with aftermarket filter ? A K&N drop-in filter keeps the stock look, but yet has the "last forever" concept. Just My Opinion.

I've run K and N in other vehicles.

Since then, and anecdotally, I've hear that the foam lets more particulates in than a stock paper filter. I don't know if it's true, but wanted to sneak in another 15,000 miles while I check this out.

Buy me lunch and a beer at the next meet and it's yours.
