Performance Shops in Los Angeles?

Alright, this horsepower thing is getting addictive. I love my SRT-8, but then I think, it can be made even more powerful. I'm thinking I'll go with the Magnaflows and probably the Ram air intake by Hennessey, and maybe even headers. I have the good fortune to be able to afford further Hennessey upgrades, but I am tentative of the distance factor between here and Texas. Am I crazy? I am new to this performance game and wonder, is this what all serious car-lovers do; send their car cross-country? I am not a kid, I don't street race, but I love the power and want more of it, but . . . I still am practical and fear a breakdown. What if? So, is there anyone closer, like in Los Angeles that has a similar reputation to Hennessey? Thanks for your help!

GS Motorsports. They do alot of bolt on stuff like superchargers...not sure about port & polishing heads, cams, etc.

Unfortunately, my first lead did not pan out, but they referred to me to a someone in the Thousand Oaks area that they have a lot of faith in with Chrysler products. I'll be contacting them ASAP and find out if this has potential and then post. What is everyone's opinion/knowledge base on this topic, do people really just ship their car cross country for these upgrades, are the choices that limited?

Well, I'm dissapointed. Lead #2 said that with a car this new there is not anybody that he is familiar with that does that type of work and that at this time, only Hennessey comes to mind.
