Question Cool Stuff on VIP Edition

I saw those headlight covers from the SEMA pictures. And I am extremely interested. I also saw that you had lower mesh inserts.

What's the skinny? How much for those items?

Or have I just fallen for photoshop magic?

OK, I got my C, but there was a slight change in color.

Magnesium, stock grill, 20" chrome double-five spoke wheels, south on the OC 5 every day, north every night.

what made you decide to change color and what color was it going to be?
Also, how long did you wait and where did you go to get it? Did you like your sales guy? You didnt do $5k over sticker did you?
Okay, nuff questions.
Thanks

I wanted Black, but had only recently arrived at that choice after initially rejecting it for maintenance concerns. I keep cars for a long time, so I was leery of getting it washed 50 gazillion times.

The color change came about when I went out Friday, the rainiest and last day of the year, hoping to get lucky.

I started at Foothill Ranch, which advertises "20" Cs in stock. Initially, I was told they had NONE, then, that they had one, a stripped black one, and that they were going to get the key to show me and another guy at the same time. I wasn't interested in a bidding war, so I left. Checked the paper the next day, it still says they have 20. I called, they said they had 4 in the morning, 2 silvers and 2 whites, no mention of the black. Not sure wat's going on, but a very strange place there.

Then I went to Tuttle Click, off the 5 at Bake, they had this mag sitting there, $47,000 on the sticker, 5K for the "fair market" and 5K for the 20s. The car looks VERY nice in Magnesium, so I considered it. It has everything but Sattelite radio, bluetooth, and a sunroof, which was exactly what I wanted.

The "market" deal was waived before I even drove it, we hashed out a fair price on the wheels after several hours.

In between the dickering and the final deal, I went to Irvine Auto Center, they wanted $5,999 "market" price, no negotiations, and the guy in Fullerton also insisted on $5k, although I got a salesman to drop it to 2K about a week ago. Irvine has a single loaded silver in stock, Fullerton is expeting 5 or so in about a week.

Then I went back to TC and did the deal.

Salesman was GREAT, KAVIAN is his name, he's happy to take a deposit, they had another Magnesium with 20s and fewer options Friday night, but he thought it would sell pretty quick.

yes! Congrats on your new baby. I've ordered the Mag C about 800 years ago and hope to get it later this week. I'm very jealous but hope to get off the bench and into the game soon.
Hemee - are you happy with your decision to silver? it looks great from the avitar.

Thanks much, now if I can just memorize what everyone is driving, I can say Hi when we meet!

Silver is VERY nice, BTW.

You will LOVE your car. The mag sometimes looks like it has blue in it, sometimes green, but always very nice.

I'd say I'm "okay" with the silver... it's definitely not a standout color by any means since there are approximately 3 to 5 gazillion silver cars on the road! My 1st order was for Mag Pearl, 2nd was for Deep Lava Red and would have preferred either. But I definitely love the car! If I do go for the SRT-8 It will be black - - what the hell, I'm retired, I have time to clean... and clean... and clean

Hope to hear good news from you VERY soon!
