I'll have to put my 2 cents in on the Redondo location. I used to live in both Redondo and Hermosa Beach and went to that parking lot often. Although it is large, it is also very busy on the weekends. I think that getting a bunch of parking spaces right together would be a problem and cars will end up scattered all over the place.

They're all pretty much of a drive for us irregardless, so it really doesn't matter much where we wind-up; however, we would like to see what the ocean looks like once more...it's been a while. Heck, just as long as it's somewhat family oriented (teenagers allowed) and has a large parking lot where we can maybe all park near one another, that is if the dining facility won't mind, then we'll be there as well. We do have a Ruby's here which we frequent at least once a week for breakfast and we certainly do enjoy their food, and since the Redondo location is near the ocean, well...

I checked out the Ruby's in RB. My only concern is parking and that you have to pay or get validated. For a weekend get tegther we might have a problem with parking that many cars in that area, just my opinion. I haven't voted yet, but will check out the other areas. I really don't care where we go, I just don't want it to be a hassle if this meet gets big. As far as family goes you won't have a problem at any location and I think that's great to have your family.

I went by House of Brews tonight to take a picture of the lot, but the pics turned out too dark. I'll try again this weekend in the daylight. HOB is on the very end of the Huntington Harbor Mall and has its own parking right next to it and a very large lot just behind it. At 7:00 PM tonight, there were at least 100+ parking spaces all next to each other completely empty.

Fatchance - go by and look at it so you can give an opinion on what you think.

Parking has to be good. I've seen how bad parking gets on the weekend at places that need parking to be validated. Bad idea.

^^^^ i second that... i'd rather drive a little further and have a place where we can all park together (not spaced out) and not have to worry about validation and junk. i voted for RB but that was only because it was the closest to my location. =)

Same here. Just as long as family is welcome and there is plenty of parking (without hassles), then we're up for any place which you folks decide upon...nearer to the ocean would be nice for us. We glanced at a map and it appears that all three locations appear to be pretty close to one another. Just make sure that you post good directions from either Palm Springs, Hollywood, or Beverly Hills and my son should be able to find it.

I went by House of Brews today and this location is better. Parking should be relatively easy and there's plenty of it. I'm not sure how crowded that area gets on the weekend, but RB would be horrible (IMO) trying to organize this. One idea I had, we meet at 11:30am at about 2:00 we can head to PCH turn left and cruze into HB Main St., from there back So on PCH to Newport, then north on the 55 fwy at which point members can take the routes home. That would take about an hour. From House of Brews we are 2 minutes away from PCH. The drive would be great and for those who would like to take a short cruze after would be really top it off. Again just a thought.
