DUVEL is some good Belgium beer. It's strong tasting, but its 8% alc. content. Which gets you moving really fast That Trippel, I've never tried, I have to keep an eye open for that one.

LOL THIS IS WHY I LOVE THIS FORUM!! So I wake up this morning (yeah, which is about just now, I'm a student ) and I find a whole nother page worth of cool people piping in! Sweet!
Thanks for the history lesson kcrn, very interesting. And thanks for the spelling lesson HEMEEE, that'll probably help find some down the road. I'll be trying DUVEL, thanks to First300COwner.

Hefewiezens are generally my favorite beer. They're just so sweet and smooth and tasty. But I pretty much love anything fresh and original.

If there's anyone in IL watching this forum Emmett's Pub/Ale House has a few locations in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago (Palatine and West Dundee I know for sure) which is where I first had the Belgian Trippel, so you should definitely check it out.

Thumbs up Wow! I'm A Little Tipsy

So I found this MacTarnahan's Tripel (their spelling, not mine) at a local shop while out running some errands today. I go 'em all done and decided to open 'er early. WOW! Not quite as tasty as the Belgian Trippel I had in Chicago, but I've had half a pint and I'm pretty happy this stuff is strong!

LOL, nope, the iSight seems to flip everything mirror-like. But if you were drunk enough, that would definitely mess with your head!
