Wow, that's a shame. I've posted some cruise photos (in my photo gallery) which might give you an idea of how it went. I might add, that although my wife never really used to care for these types of gatherings (car meets, Harley meets, etc.), she openly admitted as to having a great time yesterday. She really enjoyed meeting some great folks, looking at some great cars, and especially enjoyed being a driver in our cruise caravan. She says that it was extremely fun/exciting, and she can't quit talking about it even today.

On another note, WOW, we had a big earthquake (5.6) here a couple of hours ago, and we're still reorganizing things.

When we stopped in Newport, Brian's buddy's face said it all. He said that going down Main St was "tight". Now, I'm going to assume that meant awsome.

I lead Brain up to the Get the 55, then swung back onto PCH where I met VIP with his two cars and myslef cruised back into Huntington Beach. There were two guys that at every light kept talking to VIP, not including the looks we got.

This was a great turn out, no doubt. I was impressed by how the members really took there time and looked at the cars. Really just enjoying the moment. Then the cruise was just flat out crazy! But a nice touch.

We talked about having a meet at a park, just a thought. But how about we do the next meet in San Deigo and meet up at Mission Bay? Those of us up north we could do mini caravans and all meet at the rest stop before Oceanside, then make the final drive into Mission Bay. If your going down the 15 have a meetin point at maybe the 15 and 91. This could be a great road trip and meet. But we'll need to cordinate this, if we decide it's a go.

Mr. DJ - Check out this comparison of a picture you took Saturday versus one I took last year on August 1st. Pretty funny....

It was great meeting everyone. For those that I didn't get to meet, I'll be a bit more recognizable when I show up in my 300c.

Great peoples. The event really made me miss my car...

Hello All,

Let say that 300cforums.com not only has a lot of members with classy rides, but it also has a lot of classy members. I appreciate the invite and had a great time mingling with the members. Special SoCal Meet price sheets were passed out, and if you missed out the special SoCal pricing will be good until 12am this Sunday.

Again I would like to say thank you for the invite and we hope to be at the next SoCal meet as well.

Everybody have a great week.

John

I see what you mean Jon. Lets' make sure that we continue this cruise tradition, as it certainly was a lot of fun. I'm glad to have met you and the others, but I just wished that I had the opportunity to have met those other members whom I didn't get a chance to meet, as well as all of the vendors who had also shown-up...maybe next time. I must say that my wife and I also enjoyed meeting many of the 'Magnum' owners, as they're a great group of people as well. Thanks again to you and the others (HEMEEE) who organized the meet and for also making sure that we all had a fun safe time...'til the next meet.

Rogue, I saw and photographed your car, but I don't recall having had the pleasure to have met you though...maybe you were standing next to me at some point in time and/or I even photgraphed you while you were checking-out all of the other great cars.
