Ok - now we are getting carried away! We will do this one time with your long list of questions!

AS a general rule we are more conservative on our ratings because we know you folks spend a lot more time wringing as much as you can and what better thing to say that you dusted the factory guys!
3. any specific 1/4 mile times? We have seen numbers as low as 13.8 at 101 mph. Our official numbers are less than 14.
4. any plans for HID option? It is already option.
5. any plans for kicker stereo option? There isn't one now, and we can't answer future product questions.
6. whats the hold up with production? my car is still in D1 status with build date of 12/2??? We have always said cars will show up in dealers in the beginning of the year. We have many processes and checks to insure quality. We are on track for our builds.
7. any plans for back up camera option?
We can't answer future product questions.

So do you guys provide any help, licensing of code, review/approve changes etc with companies like Superchips, Hypertech, Diablo, etc to provide those types of revisions in the aftermarket?

There is a perception these things have to be reverse engineered otherwise programmers would have been out a year and a half ago.

The SRT8 is a beautifully balanced race track car right out of the box. Fantastic in transitions. But we want to go faster and at least nibble at the Z06 . . .

As some of us have discovered, the programming code for the ECU is actually open.

The problem is that there are over 27,000 packets of bundled instructions. Some help with this will allow us to keep pace with the "other" makes.

How about it, guys?

Good Evening!!!!! I'm the proud owner of a 06 Charger SRT8. In a ball park number, how much HP gain can be expected from a Mopar CAI, catback exhaust, and 180 t-stat swap?? THANK YOU and Happy Holidays to you and yours!! Mike

Rigghhht! You want us to tell you how to tune the car to the very inch of its life and then take it to the dealer when it breaks? Don't think so. It is a hoot right out of the box.

Our SRT calibrations efforts produce BMEP outputs that are maximized for the specified fuel of the vehicle. These are run on engine dynos according to very specific SAE standards. We are quite sure that our CAL GEEKS are better than theirs.
We are very protective of our software and are not liscencing it. Sorry.
We are aware that the outside software companies have done a pretty good job with the GM and Ford software. As we change the base software yearly with random number generators, it might be a little tough attacking it.

Why no four wheel drive ?

I'm trading my Subaru Impreza WRX STI - 300hp pocket rocket - which by the way also produces a lot of dust from its Brembo brackes, so I'm getting into the SRT8 with my eyes open .... it has four wheel drive all the time, which makes its handling superb, why not the SRT - especially since the 300C has a version?

There's been quite a few reports of the 2006 Charger SRT8 having a whine that's either coming fromthe engine or transmission. Have you heard of this and has the problem been identified/fixed?

Help clear up up a debate please...

Can you confirm for us the size of the front and rear anti-sway bars on the SRT8?

Solid or hollow?

Thank you,
Linda
