Thank you for the reply. Is it normal for my coolant to reach temperatures of 230-235 degrees when driving in 55-60 degree weather?

If you find an issue, please take your car to the dealer and show them the previous post in the link above. When they call DCX, they will be told to perform a flush and fill and add an additive.

We've shown that the flush and fill when properly performed removes the majority of the solids and with new fluid fill, the system stabilizes.
Okay, so, is the recommended course of action if theres a reoccurance of solids a repeat of the flush and fill? Also, a lot of owners have reported that dealers are not able to get the recommended lube/protectant. Backordered. Any options/information for them?

I bought my own, but evidently, some places in the country, you just cant buy the Zerex stuff.

Well of course not. But quite frankly, there has been plenty of speculation already. If you are a true gearhead, I would suggest you pay close attention to this year's Woodward Dream Cruise.

No. We have helped a local customer with this issue and found the front upper strut mounts needed to be replaced to get rid of the noise.

What's your duty cycle? Vmax? Mt.Palomar? Idling in the MickeyD's drive thru line? Normal Driving?

That's not abnormal... what are your oil temps during the same events?

Also, some owners report dealers UNWILLING to call DCX or STAR, and/or to admit there's an issue.
