Does that mean there is a finalized hitch?

P/N 04692392AK is the latest release of TCM code... that should have been what was flashed per 21-020-06.

Quite a few SRT8 owners have, or are planning to, change the location of the IAT sensor. Evidentally they feel that you guys did not put it in the "ideal" location. Can you give us the scoop on the benefits, if any, and the drawbacks if any, of relocating the sensor?

Even did a Mexican high desert run of sustained 165 mph cruising with no issues. This is one tough, stout car!

I have installed KW-2's, Hotchkiss sways and a Quaife LSD.

My question is: On the 3 positon ESP switch in the Disabled positon, are all the stability brake interventions really turned off?
Glad to hear your enjoying the car. In the disabled position there is no stability related brake intervention from the ESP system

Was there any thought to releasing a newer TCM code modification that would allow for the shorter shift from 1-2 and not the removal of the autostick shift lockout feature?

Could those two features be seperated in the TCM code?

One other question.Aside from an emissions standpoint do you see a problem taking off the breather tube to the intake tube and replacing it with a breather filter so the motor stops sucking oil through the breather tube?

Heres my monthly question.

It was prompted by a discussion with an LEO (law enforcement officer) over at LXforums. Question in two parts, short form, yes or no answer, long form if you can/will share any tech details short of actual numbers/values, which I know you cannot.

1. Does HAL ever stop attempting to recover the vehicle from a spin?

2. Meaning, is there a point in the software where ESP just flat gives up? While discussing the suitability of the Charger to perform a PIT maneuver, it occured to me that PITing a vehicle with ESP (either as the car being stopped, or the one trying to stop the bad guys) might just lead to behavior never briefed to LEOs in the course of EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operators Course)

EDIT, SRTEngineers are now in-thread, welcome.
1) HAL will never give up on you, but he can't break the laws of physics. Tires can only generate so much force.

2) When continually cycling ESP from knocking someone sideways, it has the effect of slowing the car down as throttle is cut and various brakes are dragged. Even if you can't spin the perp out, I'd think you would be really slowing him down.

If you need a test driver to help you with Spin-n-pin manuevers, let us know!

If there is not going to be a brake rotor TSB for the Jeep GC SRT8, will the front and rear slotted rotors that are part of the LX TSB fit the Jeep?

Would this be advisable?
