Will there be new rear gear choices for the auto Challengers, i.e. 3.92 or even 4.10? I really want to be able to smoke my Dad's GT500. Thanks again.

hypothetically speaking ... what would happen if someone using a Starscan attempted to install 2006 software in a 2007 TCM?

So basically is the 2006 TCM and 2007 TCM - "Hardware" the same?

I expect a semi political answer ... but hey I figure it is worth a shot with you guys.

And as always thanks for staying late to deal with us and our questions. You guys rock.
2006 = EGS52 / 2007 = EGS53. There are hardware differences and software is incompatible between the two boxes (it wouldn't flash or you'd make a door stop out of it trying). The StarSCAN, unless it's been hijacked, follows supercedence policy and won't flash 2007 code on a 2006 vehicle.

In the list of features announced for the 2008 Challenger, and also listed on the dealer ordering sheets is the new "Keyless Go/Proximity Entry" push-button ignition system. But in all of the press releases and brochures not a word is mentioned about this wonderful new feature. Even some of the Challenger SRT8 press photos show a key fob in the ignition vs the push button. Can you offer any more details on this?
