Thanks for the great products/Quaife LSD/Tires

First off, thanks for providing us all with some awesome products. Just did the SRT Experience in Portland, OR and had an absolute blast. I'll be adding one a year to my vacation list just for fun. I will say that 600hp Viper is an absolute beast, and I never thought I'd say I was able to do a four wheel drift in a Jeep SRT8 on the Auto cross course, with ESP on!

Now to the questions:

1. What advantages do you see by adding a Quaife LSD?
My 300C SRT8 is daily driven in Seattle(rain country), sees the 1/4 mile on occasion, and after the SRT TE it will see a road course here and there. My biggest problem with the torque/brake diff is that when on wet roads, taking corners can be a trick.

2. Tires, Is there a substantial amount of performance to be gained by switching from RSAs to the F1s? I run RSAs and after 23K miles they feel a little greasy. If I switched to F1s for track use would the gain in traction make adding a Quaife overkill?

Thank you,

Ryan

Yes...the front spoiler is a seperate piece and can be replaced.

My 2008 Jeep SRT8 shifts around 5K rather than 6K at WOT. Where I get the vehicle serviced the Tech. has no clue as what to do. Any suggestions?

I know this has been addressed before, but I recall it was an issue with the front suspension. Well I replaced it, and am still having the issue...

I have a 2006 Charger SRT-8. I have replaced the stock suspension with KW V2's and am still getting the same front end thunking noise. It is intermittent, so the dealer thinks I am nuts.

Any thoughts?
Try replacing the front swaybar end links.

Thanks for doing this! Can't wait to get my Challenger!
Owners manual will tell you to be nice to it for the first 500 miles.

I would certainly put a tank of fuel thru it minimizing time at WOT, check all the fluids and it should be good.

WE do a very specific 14 hour breakin on new engines. At 30 mph , thats 700 miles . Diffs break in in 200 miles of driving with some amount of gentle cornerring.

What differential is going into the Challenger?

Is it something that can be retrofitted to the current crop of 4 door SRT's?

Would one be able to (mechanically) fit the manual transmission from a Challenger into a '06 SRT? I know that their would be software issues but would the parts, linkage etc. bolt up?
We can't go there, yet, guys. Sorry. Be patient.

Your question is confusing so I'll answer in generic terms.... the trans controller uses axle ratio and wheel speed as part of it's control logic. So changing to ANY axle ratio besides 3.06 will result in a trans limp-in condition. Sorry.

Lowering an 05 Ram SRT-10 CE

1. Will lowering the Ram SRT-10 1" - 1.5" front and rear decrease the performance handling designed into the truck or enhance them? I want a cleaner look to the profile, but dont want to mess with the handling characteristics.

2. I want a nice deep and low exhaust note, what exhaust system do you recommend? I have always liked the notes from a Flowmaster on my Chevy V-8's but I know its different from engine to engine and I want the best sound for my SRT-10. I want it to sound as bad as it looks.....

Thanks for the great work on the SRT line of cars and trucks, you guys dont mess around and all the comments I get on my truck show the respect the public has for your work.
