2. I want a nice deep and low exhaust note, what exhaust system do you recommend? I have always liked the notes from a Flowmaster on my Chevy V-8's but I know its different from engine to engine and I want the best sound for my SRT-10. I want it to sound as bad as it looks.....

Thanks for the great work on the SRT line of cars and trucks, you guys dont mess around and all the comments I get on my truck show the respect the public has for your work.
2. Mopar does offer an exhaust system for 2-door SRT-10 Rams. The part number is P4510856.

Speaking of NAG1 TCM's, when will the performance TCM be released?

Volant Cold Air Intake

The Volant Cold Air Intakes uses the hood scoop air for input into the engine. How would the decrease in cooling air flow through the engine compartment affect performance?

Thanks for your time and expertise...

I'm going on to near 7 months and still can't get my order to go through for my 08 Jeep GC SRT8. The Canadian and American Jeep sites have still not been updated.

March 10th has come and gone. Do you guys have anything encouraging for me this evening? From last month's session I was really countiing on better news. I called my dealer a few minutes ago and still nothing. Thanks!

Using Autostick I can shift at 6K but not with the Trans. in Auto it always shifts around 5K. I've owned 2 CSRT8s and have driven my son's QCSRT-10 and they all shifted at 6K. I have also driven other Jeep SRT8s they shift very much closer to 6K than mine. What controls when the Trans. will shift at WOT. Thanks for the SRTs they are great I've owned 4 so far and still have 2 of them, Thanks again.

Does the Challenger have the "dive plane" winglets on the splitter like some car mags say? Will the engine output for the STRT8 be increased? (6.4 litre?)

I will say that 600hp Viper is an absolute beast, and I never thought I'd say I was able to do a four wheel drift in a Jeep SRT8 on the Auto cross course, with ESP on!

Now to the questions:

1. What advantages do you see by adding a Quaife LSD?
My 300C SRT8 is daily driven in Seattle(rain country), sees the 1/4 mile on occasion, and after the SRT TE it will see a road course here and there. My biggest problem with the torque/brake diff is that when on wet roads, taking corners can be a trick.

2. Tires, Is there a substantial amount of performance to be gained by switching from RSAs to the F1s? I run RSAs and after 23K miles they feel a little greasy. If I switched to F1s for track use would the gain in traction make adding a Quaife overkill?

Thank you,

Ryan
1.) The Quaife will transfer torque to the outside wheel almost instantaneously.

2.) The F1s are sticker than the RS-A's. About 0.03g on the skidpad, 2 mph in the slalom, and WAY stickier in the rain. We went 6 seconds faster around a flooded autocross with full tread F1s compared to RS-As at Goodyear. The RS-A's are amazinly capable in the snow and F1s are helpless. Your choice. The Quaife is pricy, but works well regardless of tire.

Do you know exactly where the amp is in the Caliber SRT-4 with the kicker sound system? Is it in the same place as a Caliber with the MusicGate sound system (above where the spare tire would be)? I'm also dumbfounded as to why the SRT-4 ships with a standard sound system and you can spend less money on an R/T and get the MusicGate standard?

Not really much of a question here, but more of a customer feedback type thing. Dealers need to be better informed about certain SRT products. The Caliber SRT-4 for example there are so many salesmen at dealers telling people that the Caliber SRT-4 is AWD. Most of them never take the shock spacers out and don't even know they're there. This isn't just one particular dealer, its dealers all over the US.

You guys put out kick @ss products... Keep up the good work!

I understand the rules per "future product questions", but I was hoping you could make an exception...

Are there any plans to license/produce a scale model of the Grand Cherokee SRT8? (btw, LOVE the new Hawk Models 6.1 engine!!!)

You will be seriously compromising jounce travel by dropping the front. Also, roll centers drop about double the amount you lower the ride height, so you will likely increase your roll rate. If you are going to lower the truck, you need to go to stiffer springs, stiffer shocks, and rebalance the handling to do it right. Are you up to that task?
