Hello team SRT

Thanks for the great cars I have the 300 C SRT8 and the Caliber SRT4. My question is regarding the seats and heating in the caliber SRT4. The SRT4s that come with the leather seats have the heated seats but no seat airbags, the on and off switches for the heated seats are next to the TCS and hazard switches just above the shifter. The cars that dont have the heated seats these switches are missing and their location is covered with a black plastic cover(fake switch that doesnt depress), but if you do remove the center console we do see two wires that arent pluged into anything, are those wires for the heated seats even though the car isnt equipped with it?? So can I get the mopar heating pads and use those wires as connection??
You can see pics of the wires and connection in this link (sister forum caliberforums) post number 14
Adding Heated Seats... - Page 2 - Dodge Caliber Forums
a very similar example is cars that could have fog lights as an option, if you look at the ones that dont have the fogs they still have all the nesscary wires, so all you need is just the fog light and the switch.

Thank you

SRT does not allow "Marketing" to influence our horsepower ratings. You'd be surprised how common of a practice that is at other car companies, hence the tightening up of SAE horsepower rating procedures a couple of years ago. Notice how we did not loose power, but many other manufacturers did? Also, haven't Mopar horses always been bigger than the other ones?

Glad you like it! There has not been any more major changes, but we continue to fine tune the system with every model year.

I am not asking if the 6.4L will be available or not, and hopefully it didn't get squelched due to fed monies restrictions, but with the restructure that Chrysler is/will be going through to comply with the fed monies, will the SRT program continue on in 2010 and beyond? I would hate to see a good thing disappear because of CAFE or fed guidelines that may squelch it due to the SRT being a niche market for hotrod, motorheads and pure Amercan muscle horsepower aficondos, like me, err, rather us!!

As long as people keep buying our cars, we'll be around!

Great! Good to hear as long as people are buying, the program will stay in place.

I'm waiting patiently for a black 2010 300c SRT8!!

Yes, they are different. SRT designed the 6.1L box for less airflow restriction and a better "performance" sound.

Thanks Eric! Sounds like someone needs a Playstation and a force feedback steering wheel for Christmas! She can start quarter midgets at 4.

I spoke with Chrysler engineer Tony Elias at the Spring Festival regarding spring rates/heights for both R/T and SRT models. He stated that they have changed over the years for the various models. He said he would email me ballpark figures for these, but I am yet to receive (I'm sure he has more important things to do).

As an AutoCrosser it is important to know this information to baseline and review performance changes. Could any of you please provide ballpark (average) suspension spring stats for both the R/T and SRT versions of the Magnum, Charger, and 300?

Thanks for any input you can provide me.
