Magnaflow on the car...

Just picked my SRT8 up today - 20% tint + Magnaflow installed.

It sounds nice - it's louder at idle and cruise then stock (if I had to put a number on things I'd say it's 30~40% louder at idle and light cruise) but under WOT it's really pretty comparable to stock volume wise. Deeper and meaner sounding all across the board...love the rumble now under light throttle and idle conditions...matches the car much more now and it's still "sane" sounding - it's not overboard and suits the car nicely.

Tips look nicer then I thought they would.

Didn't get a chance to put it on the dyno - 21CMC was swamped this morning so didn't have enough time to check things out. Next week...

I have a Magnaflow system on my 427TT as well...it actually is quieter then stock believe it or not...one of the joys of turbos. Total sleeper until the wastegates spring open. heh

No resonance at all and see my first post above for volume levels psalt.

Chris, under WOT my Magnaflow sounds deeper but it is not much louder then stock (for that car this is a GOOD thing in my book).

Baby is doing great thanks! She's got her old mans sleep issues though - she's a major night owl. It's kinda cool though since we can stay up together and hang out.

She's sleeping now though, giving us a little breather...whew!

Doh...spoke too soon......haha
