Angry Magnaflow Arrived Today

.........and I could tell there was going to be some issues from halfway down the block. Box was pretty much flat on one end and almost torn in half. Opened er up and the resonator looked like someone took a tire iron to it. Huge crease diagonally across the middle. Two egg shaped 3" straight pipes not as bad as the resonator, but bad enough. Ups guy left it at the door, so nobody was here to refuse shipment. They're coming back tomorrow to pick it up and I guess I'm going to start over.

Sorry, but I won't have any dyno's as I'm sure the replacement system won't get here till I'm back out of town. Oh well, I'll just live vicariously through everyone else who've already got theirs.

I hate when UPS does that. Were they thinking you just wouldn't notice? Praying that the goods inside were indestructable? Thought they could deny it was damaged in transit? Sorry about your luck. It'll be right soon enough.

OOOUCH, sorry to hear that. I was worried when mine showed up as well as I mentioned to ya. Hope they get you a replacement ASAP!

This NEEDS to ship in multiple boxes, it is just too large to handle easily.

Were they from GP # 1 or #2

Assuming these are the TByrne group buys?

Also you now have me worried as well. Let us know how fast you can get the replaced.

.....two boxes would definately be the way to go. The problem is not the vendor on this either by the way...........the problem is the box that magnaflow has it packed in......not made for a long haul I guess. It looked like it had be dropped of a roof....my wife and I were actually just looking at it and laughing about how bad it looked. I only wish I could have been here to meet the guy who delivered it......hopefully it the guy who's coming to pick it up .................can't wait to meet this guy

oh well..........keep the posts coming as to how cool they are so I've something to look foward to

John - that sucks! I had something like that happen 2 weeks ago...I ordered a rear Challenge grille for my 360 and it showed up all bent up and pretty useless (the box looks like it lost a fight with grape ape).

UPS came out, inspected it and acted great...until they decided that the box the shipper used wasn't strong enough to withstand their abuse. That just blew my mind - UPS actually more or less admitted that there was abuse, that THEY had abused it but that the box wasn't up to snuff so they were gonna give the shipper hell when it came to getting it covered. The shipper was cool though and shipped out another one...but this is the second massive failure I've had with UPS...the first time they destroyed a race seat that was shipped in a box that was constructed like no other box I've ever seen...somehow, it took a beating and after 6 months of fighting with those assclowns they finally said "sorry - don't like it? file a lawsuit".

UPS insurance is a total joke. If UPS was a guy I'd punch him right in the faceneck.

We've shipped upwards of 70 packages a day over the last 4 years, and not once have we ever had UPS not live up to a claim that we felt should be covered. Not trying to say UPS is perfect, they're not by any means. But as far as insurance claims have gone, they have been 100% on key.
