Who did you buy it from? I am waiting on mine and hope that this is not the condition it will show up. Did you call the retailer yet and ask them? Does the retailer even look at them before they ship them out to the consumer?

Packaged with love right here in the USA. Do you think this was the UPS guy? If so we can wait for him and hold him hostage until UPS brings you a new shiny one .

Yeah that is pretty much what I got -box was not quite that torn up, maybe. The weld splatter was a little disappointing on the polished parts but likely never to be seen once installed.

Herb...

The only thing you can really see from behind is the mufflers...
and as long as they are shiny - then unless you are in a car show...the welds will only be noticed by you...
now one has gotten down on their hands and knees yet and looked at my system...
and it is a pre-production one anyways...
and it still sparkles nicely from the rear...
remind me to ask you after you have had it on for a "run" through 1st-3rd gear at WOT... and then tell me me you are worried about the welds...
I agree, they could have been better - but you won't see them...
ENJOY!!!

I thought I read that the Magnaflow system was polished stainless steel all the way back like my Zoomers? Am I thinking of another manufacturer?

Looks like the box was thrashed, but that doesn't explain the over spray. I would contact Magnaflow. I'm sure they will take care of you.
