Would this be a bad thing?

I am going to have the Mopar CAI and the Magnaflows installed at the dealer before I take delivery. If I do this the wife's mod alarm may not go off since she has never seen or heard a stock SRT-8. I will just tell her this is what 6.1 liters of American muscle sounds like.(Coming from a 2.0 liter turbo she may believe me.) Too sneaky or not?

This is what I was thinking. Because I think I will have to get her approval for the supercharger down the road. I am thinking the whine would be picked up thru her mod seeking powers. If she did not hear it she would know something is wrong everytime I punch it and get the big grin.

I guess you are right. I thought maybe at least one of had some morals and would tell me not to do it. I guess the car is so big I could sleep in it if she kicks me out of the house.

What do they say? It's better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission.

(DISCLAIMER: This is only a theory I have heard. I would never practice this for real. Right, Honey?)

I like that quote, I think I will do it with that theory in mind. Thanks Mike

I think I screwed the quote up. Maybe it's EASIER to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission. Either way...
