Clear bra pre-cut kits? Anyone find SRT-8?

I am headed over to a local conversion shop to talk with their clear bra expert. We could only locate pre-cut kits for the Magnum RT and the 300C, but not the SRT-8 versions of these vehicle. Since a local Dodge dealer is directly across the freeway, I am picking him up and driving over to park the SRT door to door with a Mag RT. Hopefully, we will be able to determine what pre-cut pieces we can use and what needs to be customized.

I'll report back, but if anyone has located a maker with SRT-8 specific kits, please post.

Todd

Todd...

Jketron was putting one on last month...
but the fit was not right...
and the guy was to get back to him on it...
since Johnny is in the Carribean and the car is with GS Motorsports...
who knows what is up...
last time I talked to him, he had not heard from the clear bra guy...
and that was a week ago...

The Magnum SRT-8 can use the hood/mirrors/fender kit that X-pel makes for the Magnum RT. It can also use the headlight/foglight kit they make. The rest appears to be a no go. I may use the grill kit they make and have them cut the bottom portion off of it. It will cover the grill and surround fine, but the bottom piece doesn't have a chance on the SRT nose piece. From there down, it will have to be done the old fashioned way, so I am going to hold off on it for a while. The headlights/foglights kit and the hood/mirrors/fenders kit should go on the car late next week.

White Diamond,
I have a local installer that I am working with and, like you said, he claims everything else should work/fit fine. This guy also claims that he can make a custom piece for the chin spoiler that will work and look like a factory fit.

I was going over to LVMS for the "SRT Track Experience" Oct. 15th and wanted to get this done before then. Now we (a group of forum members) have decided to wait until Nov. 19 and do it @ Laguna Seca so I have another month for the factory pre-cut version to be available.

I am working with an XPEL supplier/installer. Is this the same MFG you are refering to?

I am having a clear bra installed next Tuesday the 13th. Installer claims he has done them many times before and does not use a kit--just the 3M film off the roll. He then cuts to fit. Process will take 5 to 6 hours. The shop tinted my front windows and I like them--true car guys that care about their work.
I'll take some pics but probably won't get them posted for a couple of days.

300C pre cut kit?

Can you tell me who makes this, whether they deal direct with end users, and how much?

Yes, they do the X-pel pre-cut. It is 3M material they use, just a company that takes that material and actually pre-fits it to many cars.

I didn't get a chance to talk to him again Friday afternoon. He was going to check if any other SRT-8s had been done and if that info was in the system. Once a few get done, the dimensions will be fed back and a kit will come out.

Todd,
Apparently X-pel is located in Texas and I asked if they wanted me to put out the word on the forums that they were looking for a car to use but have not gotten a response. They claimed that no local dealers had any MSRT8s.

If you can provide me with a contact for them, I will give them a buzz. Due to the very low volume of MSRT-8s, I don't think they will do it until somebody actually brings one to them or they happen on one at a dealer.
