Hey guys,
Been doing some reading and just registered. Tossing around the idea of getting a "fun" car. Always wanted a muscle car but have been too responsible in the past

. Currently own a 2002 300M and a 2006 Durango Limited w/HEMI. My wife and I have tossed around the idea of upgrading the D, but I'm starting to think it would be more fun to get a car, especially since there is nothing wrong with the D and the replacements we are looking at are too expensive. We do have two young kids so I still want something we can toss some car seats in, and honestly I like me a big sedan anyway.
From the bit of reading I've done here, it sounds like there probably isn't a huge difference from 2006 to 2010, correct? I ask because this is likely the years I'd be looking at.
What do you feel would be a good price on a 2006? On a 2010?
I haven't seen it yet, but there is a 2010 nearby selling for just over $25k. I'm thinking a guy could find a 2006 for mid teens?
One problem I have with buying a fun car is that I live up in central Canada so we have a lengthy winter. Initially I'd plan to keep the 300M, but is it possible to use the SRT in the winter around town on snow/ice covered roads? Are there winter tires, or good enough all seasons, that you can get for it?
That's probably a good start, but anything you can think to share with a potential buyer would be much appreciated. I was reading about the Caddy CTS-V as well, but I'm thinking an 09 will just be too costly for a third vehicle, as awesome as they sound.
