Extended Warranty Thoughts

If i know that i'm Going to go GSM Supercharged in a Month or so would it be wise to Cancel my Extended ASAP so i get the Most in Return on the product or keep it so everthing else other than the Engine and trans would continue to be covered all views will be greatly appreciated. Just crazy how this HP bug bites and you want More.

If your warranty is null and void

If your warranty is null and void by adding the s/c you mightas well cash it in if you can. I have 7 years or 75k extended warranty on mine and glad to have it. With 9 computers on this car it can get very expensive to work on.

we need pioneers

man, you must really be a gambler! glad it's you and not me. Please keep us informed as to how it works out.

I might envy your raw HP but not your reliability or longevity. NO warranties, expressed or implied.

To each his own, I for one prefer NA motors with spirited valve timing! Does anyone remember that the 6.1 test mules were severely DETUNED for production?

Thumbs up Man this cars a Blast

My current thoughts are to stay Naturally Aspirated and do the currently available Mods and get miles tallied. Seems the ones with more miles are producing the better time slips and i'd love to see mid 12's Naturally , and since most other brands which do Supercharge or Turbo charge often times either Re-program the factory ECU using Mass Air Meters or they use an all together Aftermarket ignition, and thats costly to say the least. yet i'm not of the Deepest of Pockets and with other toys in the stable i'd like to enjoy them all and spread my mods around other than risk the health and longevity of my SRT8 for short lived enjoyment. Would hate to supercharge and get some bad gas or you all know, anything can and usually does happen before its time. Staying Covered by the Factory is Best for me and i feel i'll be fairly happy with my Ride running Mid 12's , still faster than most, especially at this cost. Just hope my currently High 12's gets lower as the miles add up.

Mods to be installed soon.
> updated GSM torque/fan kit (in box)
> 180 thermostat (in box)
> high flows w/cat back soon to order
> considering KW

Mine will be gone in a couple of years when something faster comes out. Not many people who buy higer $$ sports cars keep em past the warranty.
