Smile Merry Christmas :)

Hey all. First off, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you. I just picked up a nice Christmas present for myself last Friday - a 2006 Black SRT8.

What a sweet car!! I've strictly owned 2 seat sports cars for the last 16 years - a 300Z and lately a Corvette. I found that I was renting larger cars for road trips since I enjoyed the creature comforts found in nice sedans. In August, I rented a dark blue 300 with chrome rims. I really enjoyed that car. My friends in Houston were quite impressed with it as well. I started researching 300s and discovered the SRT8.

The team at Chrysler has done a great job with the 300SRT8. If I were going to amp up a stock 300, I can not think of much I would do differently. Its hard to beat the car's performance (especially for such a big car) and their selection on rims, seats, spoiler, interior, etc. is awesome. I really like the "sleeper" element to this car.

I only have 100 miles on the car, but I am really impressed with the overall layout, drive, power, features etc. I'll try to get some pics posted later this week.

Merry Christmas

Congrats Wild turkey, and welcome to the board!

If you can hook up with cbutler32, aka Chris, when he's over your way I guarantee it will be an experience you won't soon forget!
(Chris, hope you'll be back in time for the M&G in San Diego!)

Now don't go scaring him off just yet...
plus he'll have put enough mileage on it to get it really broken in...
and yes, I'll be back just in time for the show...
unless of course there is a snow storm in Dallas and it is raining cats, dogs and dans in SD...
