OK, who saw the SRT-8 commercial during the Bears-Packers game???

First time I've ever seen an SRT-8 commercial...technically, it was a 300C commercial, but they show a black SRT-8 pulling into a parking garage...the guy parks it and walks away, and the fire sprinkler-head above it drips, the drop of water hits the roof of the S, and it 'sizzles'...then the sprinkler-head just opens up, spraying water all over the car, since it's so 'hot' lol....

bottom of screen says 'SRT-8 model shown' hehe....not bad!

Watched the rest of the game to catch the ad but they didn't
run it again... Nice to see an ad for the SRT8 but it makes me wonder
if Chrysler has reached the point where they need to start moving the SRT8's that are out now that the initial buyers are satisified.

Was in Detroit this past week and saw 12 SRT8's ready for sale and that
was just at 2 dealerships. My plan remains to wait out the lovely salt and snow season and make my deal in the spring, unless a big improvement is in the works for '07. Such improvements could be AWD or the 6.4L

I saw the same commercial Saturday in W. PA during the Steeler/Brown game. BTW: score was 41 to 0.

just some clarification: the voiceover and pricing components of the commercial were referring to the C, not the 8. but the 8 was pictured, and had the subtext at the bottom of the screen...

to the uninitiated viewer, it was a 300C commercial...

I knew it was a 300C commercial, but the car shown was a SRT. It is just like they show a 300C sometimes and say you can buy a 300 starting in the mid $20,000's. The average viewer is thinking HEMI at that price.

I know what you mean, they always seem to lead you on like that. There is such a thing as "truth in advertising" but only when you study it very closely. I'm sure that they just want to get you into the dealership; then they can tell you that the price of the HEMI car that you want really IS???

You were completely accurate with your thoughts. Cleveland didn't score 41 points.

The SRT-8 IS a 300C. Be the same as a Vette commercial showing a Z06.
