Question Talking about Mods....

So, what are the favorite/first mods to consider for the SRT8? Or even better, has someone recently completed a mod that ROCKS and they want to share with the group?

1) Window Tint (Ceramic)
2) Grill
3) Air Intake?
4) ??

STOCK NON-STOCK

I am going to hook one up to my new Visor monitors (drivers side), with a toggle for front and rear. This will be my February / March project.

It's not so much need as want!

At the 10/15 Meet & Greet in Huntington Beach there was a 300C SRT-8 with the chin spoiler cracked in half! With 5.1 inches of ground clearance and every curb in the world being higher, I thought it was a good idea. (no front parking assist from DCX). Also, the front camera gives a Wicked view of the road and the cars in front of me. The front camera feeds the front Nav unit and has a feed run into the armrest. I can plug it right into my camcorder and record the action. So, road course. 1/4 mile runs and/or road "Kills" can be captured right to mini DVD!

My guys charged $922 out the door for the camera install and the monster cable feed into the arnreast, and the 3 position switch to toggle between Rear DVD Feed, Front Camera Feed, and Standard Nav Screen. As mentioned before: Get TvandNav2Go to upgrade the head unit with a couple of video inputs first. $450 plus install.

The camera is simply a back up camera installed in the front. The only things to be careful of are:

1. Make sure the camera either does not reverse the image or can be switched to not reverse the image.

2. Make sure the camera is not too light sensitive (My first one blacked out with direct sun).

Hope this helps,

Dan
