Stole My Srt8 Rims!

Well before I even get the chance to have a flat and not have a spare tire how about walking outside the gym saturday between 1 & 2 PM BROAD DAYLIGHT 69th street burgen beach brooklyn N.Y. and seeing your car on a jack with 2 wheels missing what do you do..
well after i cursed whoever did it up and down in my mind and out loud i called the police which didnt show for 2 hours. had to buy a set of 22" rims just to get the car home and 2 of the 22's didnt fit so i had 2 srt rims in the front 2 22" rims on the rear now i have to sell the 22's because i just needed something to get the car home and no other place was open that had big enough rims to clear the rotors and i just ordered 2 srt rims today.. i called every tow company i know ever rim shop have a lot of friends in the wheel buisness and it looks like im not gonna find them so im out 1,500 for 2 srt rims with tires and whatever im going to loose when i sell these 22"s... SO my question is anyone have a good weekend ? i sure didn'T
i did keep the jack this way if i find them im gonna let them know they forgot something by slamming it over there head! lol

Sorry to hear about this BBS, hope you get it resolved soon. In the meantime, check the Buy/Sell forum if you still need wheels/tires and also check with our supporting vendors.

Good luck

Sorry to hear that!

Wouldn't some of the cost be covered by insurance?
Did they do any damage with the jack?
You may want to take a really good look at the car to make sure there is no damage to it.
I bet they wanted to grab the other side too, but ran out of time or got spooked.

Timing is everything. I just sold FOUR nearly new SRT8 wheels & tires for $1500 to another forum member. You might not want to pay that much for a new set of two when you can buy a complete used set and have two extras - one spare for the trunk and the other for replacing the one that gets destroyed hitting a NY City pothole.

I am so sorry that happened to you! I'm rethinking the idea of wheel locks for my own SRT8.

Sorry to hear about that, and mad that I missed out on DZ's SALE... Even though shipping would have hit me hard. I still need the replacements.
