Cool Corsa exhaust and more

This was an amazing day. I just had my Corsa exhaust installed today on my 300c SRT-8.
The person who did the install has been in the business for 45 years and owns many rods.
Well the saying around his shop is if it is a kit it does not fit. When Dan called me when my car was ready I asked him well how it fit. The best one I have ever done someone really measured it out correctly.

This Corsa Exhaust is amazing I make a living with my ears and let me tell you there is absolutely no drone in my car. That 60 Hz would kill me but man what a difference in performance and it does rock (sound)out side the car more on that subject.

Thus the rest of the story I was driving to an event for this evening around 2pm and was challenged by a 05 corvette. Since we were traveling around 75mph I shifted down and took off he stayed right with me and I gave him the thumbs and he replied. So we went at it again now that I was getting the feel of my car and I simply pulled away at around 110 he had had it.

Well I arrive at the event the opening of a Performing arts center so the General contractor and a couple of guys including my self decide to go for some refreshments.
Well on the way I was at a stop sign and took off a little to fast still getting used to the Corsa well I pull in the drive way and the guys come over to check out my car and guess what so does a CHP.

The Officer was totally cool he goes what happen back there and I said hey I got a little excited. He said alright then he goes on to say I heard you but I thought it was a motorcycle of something then I saw you. Would you mind starting this thing up this is the first one I have seen? So I fire it up and he is standing behind it and goes man that sound great how did you get the sound I heard. I laughed a little and said 425 horses did it. So I revved it up and he loved it. Needless to say no ticket and dodged another bullet.

Now on the way home I was driving and up to my left come another 05 vett and challenge me by hitting the gas cutting in front of me and taking of. Hell I could not have any of that so off with the esp. same time down shifting and to the metal. I was determined to push it. And I caught up with him and just punished him. I know they could get me from a dead stop but driving over sixty I own them and proved it I even taunted him. I felt he needed to be spanked. He made one more run at me and it was a perfect setting and I got to tell you my car rocks and with the new exhaust my god I buried him.

Sorry for the long story but man I love this car and it just gets better all the time. I am blown away. Thanks to all of you for sharing all your information on taking these cars to the next level.

I will have finished all my mods by tuesday and will post some pics so you can see the side markers.

Thanks for the info. While searching the net for prices (probably won't find a price better than you got) ran across an article @ www.mph-online.com/mag/features/0051 . Short story about the Chrysler SRT boys and their entries into the 2005 Targa Newfoundland Rally. It seems the only engine related mods they did was a K&N CAI and a CORSA exhaust. For what its worth they said both mods together felt like about 50 HP. No thet didn't dyno the cars. Seems like you're not the only one who picked the Corsa system. I'll probably be making the move soon myself. Thanks again for the great feedback.
