Well It was bound to happen...

Sofia Bulgaria is going to use an old Bulgarian Airforce Airfield for a quarter mile track. The fastest time last year was 11.3. (illegal street racing times)

I am not trying to break any land speed records here, just trying to Show them what the 300C SRT8 is all about.

Can anyone suggest any DIY Mods that I can put on the girl to make her Purrr. I already get the stares and head turns, but I just want the extra umph to show the power, and confidence I have in her.

The track is also a showing of cars... You know, the "come look at me" deal. So any visual mods you can suggest would be helpful as well...

Oh, and BTW... The SRT wom't hit Europe until later this year. Dealers are giving me times from March (Germany) to August (Macedonia).

Derrick and Silvia

Derrick,
cat-back exhaust, high flow cats...
these two give you a 397RWHP...
or a 24rwhp gain...
the last several add ons - Kooks Headers, Ported Heads and intake adds 41rwhp based on "Doyle" 's numbers he gave last night in another thread...
so you'll crank up to 438rwhp...
that'll get ur done...
good luck!

Not really DIY, but the weight alone to get those shipped here, and the morons that would install it on an engine that they have never seen...

Not really the choice for the moment. Oh, and I don't think Chrysler would be too keen on installing them for me. Definately want them though. From what I am reading on all the threads that is...

DAMN wish I was near civilization to get this done...

"Chris", are you serious with this? The 438 is with the ported heads and intake as well as the Kooks w/Magnaflows (see GSM's post and dyno sheet). I had the ported heads/intakes done a couple of weeks back.

Ahbizmal, best of luck. All of GSM's mods (Kooks, Magnaflows, torque/fan mod, ported heads & intake) have put a huge smile on my face and I have never been sorry. I'm sorry if these are not all DIY but most are. Best wishes!

Thanks... I'll have to look at getting the cat-backs. Thanks for the info. I am sure that I can do that one, or have help installing.

anyone know the weight and legnth of these? I don't want to go over my allowance, and not be able to get them here.

Thumbs up Gsm

Contact Scott at GS Motorsports in La Habra CA. Get the Magnaflow cat backs from him (Magnaflow doesn't sell to the public), and definitely get the GSM Torque Mod. The cat backs are EASY to install. (My 13 year old daughter could do the install on those). The Torque Mod is a little bit more challenging but definitely doable yourself (it comes with easy to follow instructions) While you're at it ask Scott for a 180 thermostat. The fan mod with the thermostat help you keep temps down and have consistent 1/4 mile times without heat soak. The difference in your car will be night and day; I SWEAR!

Visual mods? Very subjective. I do recommend the SRT-8 Floor Mats and Trunk Mat (also available from GSM)

Good Luck at the track and Happy Hunting!

Dan
