That is overly optimistic. Bolt on mods rarely give the HP gains that are advertised. Sure add them up and you will get something, but from experience it is not that much.

Plus it is more than about just a hp increase. There are the tires, the brakes, etc. Make for an overall more performance oriented car. I am sure with mods one could eventually get SRT-8 performance, but that isn't going to be without droping a lot of cash.
When I say "upgrading the exhaust" I don't mean a cat-back system. Cat-back systems are a joke. All you are doing is paying extra for the y-pipe. I talking about a "true dual" exhaust. Not cats or precats, just pipes from the headers to the muffler. You will see an increase in hp and torque..

That is exactly what I meant. It is a really good car and blazing fast. But overall package I think it fell a bit short and was lacking when compared to the other factory tuned cars in that class. Just a personal preference of the engine setup and overall feel of the car for me.
