Anyone try hooking up a stronger amp to the kicker sub?

Just wondering if anyone here has tried it, or has tried to hook up another sub in the stock box with a more powerful amp???

The Kicker Sub has a magnet that is smaller than many door speakers! I replaced mine with a Diamond sub. I also replaced the amp and front and rear speakers so I can't give a good opinion how just sub repacement improves sound, but with that crappy sub you can't go wrong by replacing it.

No wonder the Kicker was reported to be boomy. Teeitup, now that you have decent subs in there, does it work to have subs in the trunk? Or, it sounds like you replaced them with a single sub -- where?
