Couldn't wait for an SRT-8 plate frame

Took enough crap for running the dealer's plate frame. Finally broke down and bought the next best thing.

$18.98 for two shipped. Not bad. I guess I should feel lucky as the seller is no longer a registered user. Hmmmm. I probably dodged a bullet there.

$19 for 2 is not bad.
Ive had those types on my previous car and they rusted, but after about a year.
You can check out the ones I got from Wycoff.
I paid $30 for 1, A little pricey, but they are different then what I saw.
The last page has a pic of the black one on. I can snap a pic of the chrome one not on my car yet if youd like.
Let me know.
Check It Here.

I think your's are higher quality than mine. I had these (very similar) on my V for over a year with no issues. No pitting, no rust. I do live in SE VA though so no road salt, snow (to speak of), so we're pretty insulated.

I saw those and gave some thought into getting them. I decided to wait a little longer for someone to start selling a high quality 300C SRT8 frame. Besides, I still have a lot of other car mods I can spend my money on until something is available.

I keep my eye out for the local 'custom' plate surround maker. I see them in the Malls once and a while, but I haven't been out shopping lately. I would really like a SRT8 specific plate surround.

They do mention:

"This license frame kit includes a mirror-polished stainless steel license frame, a stainless steel keytag, and a set of 4 stainless steel valve stem caps all bearing the SRT logo."

Although even with the extra stuff, $50.00 does seem high.

Won't the steel valve caps mess up the tire pressure monitoring?
