What is the latest EVIC version?

My SRT8 has ver. 4.05 Does anyone have something newer?

I am not able to select different EVIC light sensativity levels like some others are saying they can. My car is at the dealer now being serviced and I will tell him to update the software.

I have 4.05 too on my 2006 6/05 build 300C. I have seen Version 4.07 on a 2006 300C with a build date of 12/05 at the dealers while I was getting mine serviced. They would not update mine as they said there was no update for my VIN #. Please let us know here if they update yours. Regards, Bob.

How does one go about finding out which version you have?

Thanks.

I have 4.06. Build date 11/17/05.

To find the software version and a buncha stuff you never knew EVIC could tell you, simultaneously push the two inner lower steering wheel buttons for a long time like 10 seconds. Then a new display will come up. The first screen probably includes the software version. You can page thru other screens with the up/down arrows on the left side steering wheel buttons.

Good night all.

Thanks!

The dealer said there was an update, but the software could not be updated for no reason. I told him the auto headlights were on at a 'too bright' setting and that the newer software made this adjustable. I appreciate your help.

Does 4.07 make that adjustable? I'm pretty sure it's not adjustable in 4.06. It would actually be a nice feature.

Hi,

What does a too bright setting mean? My auto headlights don't come on unless it is almost black out. Way too late. I am going to ask that this be looked at next time I take the car in. I know that there is a TSB for this, but my car does not fall in the production range for this TSB. My flash version is 4.05.
