driving in rain

i just did the srt track exp. and it was raining, the car was sliding every other turn on low speeds, was not easy to handle.the easyest to handle was magnum srt8 because of softer suspension.
do you drive your srt8 in rain?what do you think?

I have the 300C SRT8 with the AS tires. I was at the SRTTE on Monday, and it rained for the entire 100 mile trip home... no problems. The only time it gets dicey for me, is when driving thru standing water at higher speeds. Other than that it's fine.
Maybe the car you were driving had worn tires. I saw one car Monday (IIRC it was a red Charger) that looked like the front tires wouldn't pass a state DMV inspection.

yeah...it's those $%^&#@!!! Michelin tires they use at SRTTE...great for smoking the tires, not so great for wet surfaces.

Only time I've ever had issues with the RSAs was when it had just drizzled enough to lift the oil and rubber, but not enough to wash it off the pavement....spun at a stoplight for 3-4 seconds under 1/4 throttle...pretty embarrassing!
