Was Limerock cancelled today?

I sure hope it was. My wife was sick anyways and could not make it, and I wasn't about to trek 2 hrs on snowy roads to find out it was cancelled.

Today would have been the only day this week I could have made it to Lime Rock because of family and work commitments, and when I saw the weather forecast I didn't sign up. I hope they're back here again soon.

GNSCOTT that's a great idea bringing your wife. I wish I could bring mine, but then the kids would come, and my 4 year old who is a car nut would demand to go driving on the course and cry because he couldn't ... it just wouldn't be a good thing.

I had the babysitter all lined up, but one of the kids was sick too. I had made the decision after ALOT of thinking and decided to go alone, but after I woke up and saw the snao I said forget it. Kids screaming while you are trying to have a good time makes it a bad time.

The staff told me they were planning another 3 day SRTTE at Limerock in November, so you should watch their website for it to pop up.

Wow, I'm totally going again if they came back in November. Maybe by then I'll have that SRT-8 and save the $300 (How does that math work? Pay $40,000 to save $300?)

Keith, does that mean it was cancelled? I do not mind going back in Nov., but I paid $300 for a guest and I want to make sure that I get a spot and do not have to pay again.

No they did not cancel. Rain or shine or snow or hurricane or earthquake, the show goes on. I'd bet they'll give you a credit for another one. I had to reschedule 3 times and they were fine with it. Nice group.

I'll call tomorrow. It says on the sheet that you must give them notice. It does say rain or shine, but nothing about snow, especially since my car won't make it a mile in the snow.

I called Monday late morning to reschedule from Monday to Thursday and they were fine with it. Business, not weather, was the reason, but I bet they will be flexible. Just tell them you missed due to unforseen circumstances.
