racist #%#^#!

I just can't friggin beleive it. I stopped at auto zone to get some blue magic for my chrome (the metal stuff, like under the windows, not the plastic stuff like the wings) and tail pipes...and this guy in a beat up POS says: "when I saw your car pull up, I shore didn't expect a white boy to get out"

WTF is that????? I guess the jackass doesn't know the difference between a blinged out pimpmobile and a bone stock naturally aspirated heartbreaker? This isn't a mid-80s caddy with the krylon paintjob riding high on 22" spinners, for the love of Voot! That guy just messed up my whole day.

/edit/

On a brighter note (pun intended), the blue magic did a great job of making the tiny rust spots on the trim disappear...

You must forgive him immediately, it’s not uncommon for one to have SRT8 and, 300c envy and make stupid comments.

Racism..not good..EVER

Marne,

I feel your pain. Your comment was a compliment although how backward azz the individual presented him/herself. Doesn't make it feel any better but you were color coded before stepping out of your beauty. You should hear the comments I get: "How do you afford that? You must be using child support to handle that note? I bet you're living in that car to afford it? I see that you're one of US. Why do black men spend all that money on cars?". The list goes on and on. When I was younger I'd always have a heated reply on standby to activate in the emergence of ignorance, nowadays I politely correct the individual and apologize that they haven't placed themselves in a situation to enjoy something as nice as my Brilliant Black C. I than politely say, it's a really nice car that has more room than my Mustang and Mitsubishi 3000GTSL, as much speed as my Yamaha R6, but not quite as much room as my Yukon or Expedition. I kindly remind them that I could have purchased an older car and made it an eye sore of a color to have made them feel better but I always looking going against the grain. I usually end by saying Goodbye and have a nice day in 3 or more different languages followed by "what an arse that person was." lol Marne...they just don't know you sat in the desert thinking about your ride and you didn't see yourself as a blk, white, green or purple man when taking delivery. Just a man with great taste and a passion for the perfect combination of beauty and speed....ENJOY!

SORRY FOR THE CHAPTER lol

Having an interacial marriage/relationship for over 20 years now, I've experienced racism from some very interesting sources that I won't air on the internet, as have my wife and children. I've taught my boys that you make you who you are and no one can take that from you unless you let them.

I haven't been offended in 20 years, but I've sincerely felt sorry for some very ignorant people. Trying to educate a racist or bigot is fruitless by the way. Raise your own to be right and teach them how to handle the narrow minded.

I have to give my 2 cents on this: I am a young clean cut, overdressed italian who see this kind of sh*t everyday. I purchased my vehicle in August of 05 and have had the two following law enforcement run ins....
1. I was pulled over by a unmarked car with two officers in it, both officers came out of the vehicle (honky white boys) and came to each side of my car, when I rolled the windows down, one did not even speak, simply turned around and walked back to the car without saying a word.

2. I pulled behind a state trooper at a stop sign. I was turning right and clearly had my turn signal on. The state trooper was a huge black guy who continued to stare at me in his rearview mirror. He then simply pulled to the side and as I was passing he flagged me over. He harrassed the hell out of me, told me I did not have my blinker on (when I clearly did) and that my tint was too dark and thats why he pulled me over.

This is the kind of sh*t that MAKES people racist against those who are just that.

Dropped, chromed wheel black car w/tint, my wife tells me quite often how people kinda drop their jaws when they see a skinny little white girl getting out of it.
