Isn't the Magnum also like 300-500 lbs lighter?

I trashed my research when I came home with a "C"... this was one of the differences in my notes that I do remember. Also, the backseat of the Magnum is 1" lower than the "C" (a friend of mine who is a contractor noticed it... I sure as hell didn't).

Dude, there is no way you can add a wagon with all that sheet metal and the Magnum weighs less. The wagon is heavier.

Why would the Magnum backseat be lower and how can anyone, contractor or otherwise be able to eyeball a back seat and say that one is lower? I believe the seats are the same.

The rims specs are the same. What is the point of knowing the difference - which type of vehicle do you need and going to buying?

The C has a lot more sound dampening. The Magnum is a bit "noisier" than the C. Also, the C has heavier material in the trunk compartment than the plastic in the Magnum. Re-doing a bit of research ... according to websites (if you believe them)... the Magnum weights 4142 and the C weighs 4140. Humm, I must have mixed up models. The non-R/T weights in at 3850 which is one of the numbers I recall. My bad.

He was sitting in the back seat for both of the test drives. He notice that when we took the C out that he could see out. When we got home, I checked out the specs. The Magnum's rear seat is one inch lower. Head room rear is 36.8 for the Magnum and the "C" is 35.8 (road and track).

Official rear headroom specs from DCX list the rear headroom as:

300 - 38.0
Magnum - 38.1
