Misfire in #6 Cylinder

Over the weekend my SRT-8 started idling rough, and my engine light came on. Took the car to the dealer on Monday; received a call today from my service rep. and she stated that there was a misfire happening in my #6 cylinder. They're not sure as to what's causing this problem and has placed a call into the Chrysler for a possible resolution. The tech thinks my entire main wire harness needs replacement.

Now this is the second time they've (local tech) have had to consult with the Chrysler team to resolve a problem on my car. The first time they had it over two weeks before replacing the main computer system.

My question is has anyone else experience this type of problem with your car? If so what was done to correct the problem.

I was having multiple misfires but did not throw a check engine light.. when they replaced the wiring harness all problems were gone.. car was in the shop for 50 days... don't sweat it your dealer is probably rite. besides Id rather have them call chrysler and figure it out correctly then taking guesses and trying to fix things that are not broken! My dealer was top notch updated me everyday even if there was nothing to update about and just conversate.. good luck
