Cutout open and closed comparison vid

I only put two bolts in so the closed leaks a little bit and is louder than when they are properly sealed. I plan on putting the electrics in when I get tired of hearing it open... which will probably be ummm NEVER . Sorry for the bad video and sound quality. I had to use my still camera and not my video camera. Enjoy

Im just going to have F-body central order some generic 2.5" electric cutouts. They should be about $330 for two. I forgot how much Jason said he could get them for.

This was discussed in an earlier forum.
Here is a copy of a post I put in:

I did some more searching for the elusive cutouts I ran across a while back. I thought they were ball valves, but they were actually gate valves. These would be less likely to leak, but more likely to get stuck.
They are also more expensive...
Here are the three manufacturers I found:

Doug's (gate valves): http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?catalogId=10002&storeId=10001&cate goryId=41794&parentCategoryId=11529&langId=-1

DMH Performance (butterfly): http://www.dmhperformance.com/ecutout.htm

Quick Time Performance(butterfly): http://www.pfyc.com/store/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=PFYC&Product_Co de=GN5002&Product_Count=7&Category_Code=GPEXH

And one from a Grand National site(butterfly): http://www.buickgn.com/electricexhaustcutout.htm
