What's the truth about wheels for an SRT8?

I hearing conflicting information on fitting of 22" wheels to an SRT8. Some say most wheels have a caliper clearance problem. I know one dealer offering 22" TIS 07's and another dealer who say they don't fit. Who is right and which other wheels do fit the SRT8?

The second issue is the weight. There are several threads saying not to exceed the stock weight. Anyone with 22's on an SRT8 care to add their 2 cents?

I appreciate your thoughts on this!

Regards

What would happen if you put on 22s that are wider than stock SRT 20s but weigh less or the same?

Would 22s still slow the car down or would wider tires and lighter wheels improve riding?

Modded cars on magazines these days seem to have very low profile tires. Are they doing this just for the look purpose?

Does anyone have any answers on what 22" wheels fit the SRT8 and does the weight increase above the standard wheel/tire como make any difference on a street car?

I would have. The black leather interior and front seats make all the difference. Make the car look a lot more expensive. Plus opening the hood and having the 6.1 intake manifold(chromed) stare you down. The 8 is a much better car to start with for show purposes. Even DCX uses it to advertise their 300 model.
