Super Srt Anyone???

Wouldn't it be wonderful if Chrysler just went ahead and made the REAL SRT version of the 300? The 300SRT10 with the Viper's V-10 @ 505hp? Go ahead DCX...kill yourselves with that one. AMG E55 & BMW M5 beater.....

That'd be fun, but I think the SRT8 might really get the 6.4 hemi, that'd be great

Welcome hemi- remy! Your fantasy has been voiced by many over the time the 300 has been out. In fact somewhere in the old archives is a photoshopped pic showing just that. I often tease people that I interchange my motors between my srt10 and srt8….always kidding of course….or am I? Enjoy the forum!

hmm, idk, the viper motor (IMO) is played out.. i like it in the viper, the truck not so much, but it is nice, the bike, The 300 just wouldn't be as appealing to me with a viper motor in it. A 6.4L in the 300 would be quite nifty though.

I heard it somewhere, not sure of the source though. When the Viper re-appears as an 08 model it will not have the V10 anymore but a new V8.

I doubt that, I think the v10 adds to it's 'exoticness' over the vette.

The source is dead wrong. The 2008 SRT10 Viper, due to start production the first week of January 2007, will feature a new 8.4L V10 engine that replaces the current 8.3L. Exact HP is unknown but many are speculating that it will be, at minimum, 600.

trade in ---> Viper

Ok since there are no kids for back seat riding, is contemplating trading for the Viper a bad thing? comments...etc I was much more impressed at the SRT Exp. than i really expected i would be with driving the Viper. That was the seed that is brewing on this trade-in. STill just a thought. Yet if i show up at the track day in a Viper than, It's ON.
