Ran a C6 from a dead start

I was approaching a large intersection and I notice a new C6 ahead of me in the middle of three lanes. I'm in the left lane. As we came up to the light, it's green so I think we're going to drive through it. As luck would have it, the light went red before the Vette got to it. I've been looking to line up with a C6 for quite some time now.

He pulled up to the light about 6 feet short of the limit line (a slick move if you're going to time the light-which is what he did). As I rolled up to the light, he was looking over at me. I stopped a few feet in front of him. When the light changed, he was already rolling forward and hit it hard. By the time I reacted, he had a solid car length on me. Since I saw this showdown coming I had activated the GSM/ESP switch before stopping at the light.

I stood on it and caught him fast. I looked over at him as I got up to his door but for some reason he did not look back. As soon as I had three cars on him I jump over into his lane in front of him ( I had to go right soon anyway). I hit the brakes to slow for the turn and move into the far right lane. He then pulls one of those ricer fly-bys. See ya later. My questions have been answered.

I run the GSM ported heads/intake package with Magnaflow high-flow cats/cat-back set up, Mopar 6.1 intake and Stage II Jet chip.

Sweet! Nice kill. Too bad he couldn’t have been cool in defeat, instead of an azzz in defeat.

There's always someone bigger, faster etc. When you lose, take it like a man (or woman as the case may be). I've been beaten in many races in different cars. I've also won a few. In either case, it is appropriate to act with dignity. If the guy beats you, give him/her the respect they deserve. None of this fly-by stuff. A simple nod of the head will do.
