Calling someone a numpty is a friendly way of calling them an idiot.

Pillock is a quite a good one.

Perhaps at some stage you may want to take part in a popular part in a popular English participation sport "Taking the Piss" -

Contrary to what one might assume, it doesn't involve a complex system of tubes or a bicycle pump.

That was a very classy nudge to some of us to get back to talking about what we are here for , the love of our cars. I also agree with some , if not all of your points. But....... here's a hypothetical situation for you. Say you put your hard earned money down on heavily modding your baby with a purported genius.Something goes horribly wrong , either it takes much longer than promised , comes back to you in some way subpar. You are pissed but you try to keep your cool to get the results you were promised and expected.The owner shows himself to be unsympathetic(to say the least) and it becomes clear you were wronged , in a big way.Now you go to the easiest medium known to man to bitch , the internet.Either to attempt to do a service to your fellow enthusiast's or maybe revenge , you choose.Most likely both.Does some of the above apply with the nonsense that's going on here ? Are you watching him self destruct ? Did you see his replies here or better yet did you see the ekool post he posted last night(probably deleted by now).If I was a JH backer(which I am not , I could actually care less about him truth be told) I would find it exceedingly difficult to get behind him based on his borish conduct here.He doesn't feel us '' losers '' have money , if you read his post. There are alot of wealthy , fortunately , folks on here buying 50,000 dollar cars and ripping them apart to mod them . Does that sound like a ''broke ass'' to you. I personally wouldn't send my car to him. He personally could'nt care less if he doesn't get my bussiness. I'll say it again , if you trust him (or anybody else for that matter), send in your car and good luck. But is posting an opinion(good or bad) or a story about how you were mis-led wrong ? Am I missing something here ? We are all smart enough , I think , to take things at face value an make an informed , educated decision....are we not ??

I learnt a lot from my experiences dealing with online superheroes, and now i just take most of it with a grain of salt.

This website should be for us to discuss our cars in a friendly manner, not bitch and winge about who did what to whom. I reckon if i ran this site i'd delete this thread and tell everyone it's water under the bridge, lets look forward with a smile on our face....we drive awesome cars guys, lets celebrate that fact, life's just too short otherwise.

I think we will soon see the words "Banned User" below his name soon and he's been active in another thread here and elsewhere too. I also think JH will be thinking "Mission Accomplished". Damn poor business decision if you ask me. The customer base is pretty connected these days and the internet has made almost everyone "local customers". Pride is hard to swallow and I know that first hand, but it is doable up to a point. Perhaps just leaving with dignity would have been the better choice.

When you first came onto this board, it was with some baggage from your business past. There were those who wanted to throw that up into your face.

However, on this board most of us were willing to accept you as you presented yourself and to move forward. I even posted as much at the time. I wasn't a moderator then and our board policy is that we do not take positions regarding vendors; nor do we censor members from voicing their opinions as long as it is done in a reasonable manner.

When this board started there were no vendors. ekool carried the costs. I remember when a new vendor, a company called Naviplus, got into a dispute with a member. What was unique in that situation was not the merits of the dispute, but rather the way the owner of Naviplus responded to the dispute. He was so hostile and abusive that the membership hounded ekool for quite some time to throw the vendor off. It was only after continued pressure that ekool did sever business ties.

Again, please be reminded, that this board is neutral in business disputes. It was the disrespectful, rude behavior and personal attacks of the vendor / member against members of the board that got him turfed.

John, you discontinued your vendor contract with the board. Fair enough. Your choice. And you decided to make a public issue of this decision by starting this thread. Again, your choice. You continue to post here and are mounting vicious, personal attacks against the board owner - again your choice - but definitely in clear violation of our rules here, and you know it.

John, you may be the greatest engine builder on the planet - I don't know - others can judge you on that. But this much I know - your posts of late have revealed an appaling lack of integrity and respect on your part. You have demonstrated the emotional intelligence of a gored bull running the streets of Pampalona (with apologies to all the nice bulls out there).

John, Cyber Space can be a very cruel place. Please, do us all a favour - quit while you are behind.
