If someone wants to post negative comments about their first hand experience with someone else, they need to make their identity known. If they are lying, they are risking legal action. If this forum's owners allow it to take place, they are liable as well.
Strange how the Free Speech people don't complain when retailers are charged a fee before they're allowed to post here. Few things are truly free.
LMAO!!! So says the "ghostship" who provides his 2nd post since joining last November. My money says "ghostship's" I.P. address is in Houston.
Learn some law: Opinions are not subject to liability for anything.
In my opinion, Hennessey should be careful not to let the door smack him in the proverbial #$% on his way out.
Notice how no one has yet stepped up to say "I got Hennssey mod XX, and I got results YY, and I am happy."

Free Speech? You guys are crazy. In this country you are only free to speak and put in print what you know to be true. If what you speak or print is not factual, or you are unable to prove them factual, and, that speech or print causes someone harm, you are at risk of civil and criminal penalties; we Americans also have the right to be free from Libel and Slander.
The Internet is NOT a free zone for these laws to be broken. In fact, Section 113 of H.R. 3402, the "Violence Against Women and Department of Justice Reauthorization Act of 2005," goes so far as to make it a Federal crime to trash someone online without disclosing your real name, as well as using the internet to harass people or otherwise cause intentional harm to them.
If someone wants to post negative comments about their first hand experience with someone else, they need to make their identity known. If they are lying, they are risking legal action. If this forum's owners allow it to take place, they are liable as well.

Thanks for calling us crazy. You might not be crazy, but you are obviously not very knowledgeable on the subjects of libel, slander, and defamation. Hennessey is a public figure. You might have noticed that people say bad things about (or make fun of) famous people all the time: cartoons, comedians, magazines, etc. Everyone isn't getting sued because the target is a public figure.
Hey ghostship........ this forum, and others like it are , are to offer others advise , share a laugh and ............ OFFER OPINIONS. In my opinion , you are the one who is mis-guided here. Opinions are not slander but merely opinions. That's it. Make your own judgement call if you want to believe them or not and then take a risk. About your free speech drivel and the vender fee's , it is with there advertising fees(which THEY PROFIT FROM), among other things, that help run this fantastic site you are posting on(a whole twice since november , I guess nothing else interested you). I do not know John Hennessey personally , never had him build me a car(I use local talent), nor care that he is leaving , But i'll tell you this friend...........I value all the opinions of the members here ... and take what they say at face value. I have seen posts both ways on JH , good and bad things, but let me ask you this.......... Are these people with bad experiences all lying ?? Are they competeing venders looking to do JH harm ?? Or are they just pissed off and want to do a service to fellow forum members ? I'd tell you my OPINION here , but i am afraid you'd SUE ME !! See you in september for post # 3.

The Better Business Bureau tracks complaints and such. Below is their report on Hennessey Motor Sports. What stands out to me the most is that in the past 36 months they have received ONE complaint. The fact that it has not been reported as resolved isn't great, but 1 complaint doesn't seem that terrible to me.
From other stuff I've read it appears Hennessey did have some problems back around 2001-2002. Car and Driver even discussed them in 02 when they did their supercar shootout. (search Hennessey on car and driver's site.)
Anyway, read for yourself or hit bbb dot org.

1. Interesting that this, of all things, would be your FIRST post.
2. BBB is but a tool...and it relies on people actually going through the reporting process...the lack of volumes of reports there does not mean complaints don't exist.

I can wait . . . .
No more waiting.......
I have several mods from JH..... cats, exhaust, converter, CAI and heads (there are at least 2 you can mark off of your list in this thread).
I went to the track (HRP) with 4 other SRT8 owners, with mods varying from CAI to more than what I have. I had all of the other SRT8's covered by anywhere from .2-.4. The times I ran were not my best, but it was hot and humid. I had 4 other similar (SRT8's) to compare my times with. Could someone have been faster on another day? Maybe so, but not that day.
I'm happy.
As I've posted before, it amazes me that vendors like JH and GS stay around with the constant basing they take here and other sites..... I guess John had enough.
