Thanks to this forum, it helped me decide to buy this car. I have been putting it off for a few months due to health issues, and recently got good reports from Doctors. Apparently the SRT8 are not selling well in my area since all the SRT8's I was looking at and pricing two months ago were all still in stock, including the one I just bought.
Love the power of the engine...no doubt the lure for many.
For anyone looking to buy here was my deal:
MSRP $46765 (includes all options except Ent. system).
NPBT $40234 this included EP plus some type of rebate.
I have owned many cars in my life time, including BMW 7 series Lexus etc. but I don't believe you can beat the value of this car (at the price I paid) including the HEMI 6.1L...this car really moves.
This is great forum with many knowledgable people, I will be posting now and again to as I buy add-on or accessories for this car.
Again thanks for everyone input.
Joe

You pulled the right trigger. Now pull the trigger on that camera and lets see her!
Congratulations Joe, first on your good health reports giving you hope in the future, and second on a great purchase which will give you lots of fun and enjoyment in the meantime! Welcome to what FreebirdSRT likes to call the "Dark Side" !

In love with my first wife & first car ('68 Charger) ... still have the wife
but now there's the Heritage Edition and a Magnum SRT8!
Yes Joe major congrats on the double dose of good news for both health and auto. Obviously your health is the most important thing, but the SRT8 sure takes feeling good to a new level!! Enjoy your new beast and as Moose requested, let see some pictures!

JoeS,
CONGRATS!!!
from a west coast philly boy...
(born and raised in San Diego)
but 100+ relatives in and around Philly...
so go out and enjoy before winter comes...
as EVERY east coaster just bitches up a storm while we drive out here in the southwest...
drive it like you stole it...
and then floor it once more...
Sincerely,
