SRT300c kills S430 AMG ,O Yeah Baby...

Was cruising up the intersate this morning to do some am paper work and I come upon a Black S430 AMG in the fast lane. I proceed to pass him in lane 2, he takes notice and game on! We both punch it, he is in front of me at first, but he SRT is not to be denied. I go blowing by him and he can not keep up. Take her up to about a buck forty before traffic slows our progress. I slow down to give the other driver the thumbs up. He smiles, but I am loving my SRT more every day, that AMG did not stand a chance. I would say it was a early 2000's model. No matter what it was a great kill.

Nice job. Sounds like fun. BTW, does your 993 seem slow to you compared to your SRT8?

Don't get to excited, a 's430 AMG' just means he paid the exta few grand for some wheels and other "look" items...no motor work. The 430 only puts out 275 hp. But hey, never-the-less good kill, scratch that, murder.

Yeah what he said. I'm sure there will be a few MBs bragging about beating an SRT when the "Appearance" package comes out.

The 993 has been moded, mostly suspension, exhaust ,single mass fly wheel. The motors are very good and there is not much to do other than supercharge(for 5K) it,much like the SRT. The 300c is faster 0-60, but on a track I think the 993 would give the SRT a pretty good run. The 300c on the track is no slouch,as was shown to me at the track experience in SC.

1st of all, if you're going to street race, and risk life and limb of others and yourself, at the VERY LEAST make the race interesting!?!?

So w/that...no props.
