No offense, but I would have been hard pressed to take any of my own vehicles on such a trip. Those 'higher risk' situations are what rentals are for. Keep the pride and joy at home and safe.
he's based in Kosovo right now...
does it get any worse than that?
apparently from above it does...
this is the only way he can get through the bs he deals with every day...
by driving the SRT8!
WOO HOO!
Ahbizmal,
sorry to hear about the bumper...
but there is some good advice on the paint info already above...
I'll just say one thing...
you need to go out and "uber floor it"!!!
Hey Ahbizmal. I was happy to hear at first that you got the Halo's wired up and people were freaking over the blue glow (I want to see them as well).
I am very sorry to hear of your baby getting hit in the rear.
Let's see what can be done to get you back on the road.
First of all. The paint code is correct if you want to buy the paint through a Dodge dealership. The DA4 code: D is for Dodge. The A4 is the silver steel.
With the Chrysler's. Your code is PA4. Don't ask. I know. Chrysler is using a P instead of a C for there paint codes.
(look on your sticker, on your driver door) the letters PNT should be in the bottom left corner area. PNT:PA4
With the rear fascia. I would call Ted over at Mopar Supercenter (supporting vendor). Ask them if they are still selling the new SRT rear fascia for $269 (retails $420) plus shipping. See if they will send it to Ernie. Ernie can paint it for you and ship it from his shop. The fascia's do not come painted from the factory.
I will make it very easy on you. I have the solution. I have already received my new 1 piece rear fascia from MoparSupercenter. I can get it painted and installed on Freebird. Then ship you my OEM rear fascia which is in perfect condition and already painted in Silver Steel . Send me a PM and we can discuss prices.
I went with the new rear fascia because it is one piece. I am not going with the front new fascia because of the new row of holes for "cooling". I was going to list my OEM rear fascia, in the for sale area, but you are really in need of one and I will give you a good deal so you can get your baby back to 100%.

Maybe he could get a good deal on a Yugo or a Trabant BTW, ain't Freebird the man?
Yes, that's our FreebirdSRT! So kind, helpful, extremely generous, and willing to come to the assistance of any member! Ahbizmal, I'm glad you and the birdman will be able to work something out. That dent and punched in hole are very interesting...I would never have figured out how it happened had I not been there. Good luck! I know it will all fall together and real soon by the looks of it.
