I cant take it anymore!!! These guys simply do not give a crap about thier customers. Orders are always late (sometimes by months), orders rarely include all the componants necessary to complete the installation and many of the parts simply do not work. It is virtually impossible to get a hold of anyone at GSM and they refuse to respond to voicemail or e-mail messages (unless of course you are calling to place an order).

Here are some examples:

Every order was at least 3-4 weeks late and some were 8-weeks late.
Many orders were incomplete.
The injectors were to small for the big-boost kit.
The intake would only allow 5-6 psi of boost with the big boost kit.

I returned the injectors, intake and control module (6) weeks ago, but have not yet received any credit for them as promised.

I have been promised receipts for my purchases and get nothing.

Anybody else out there with issues?

Sorry to hear about your troubles with them. That is definitely not good, to state the obvious. However, I bought Kooks headers, high-flow cats, Magnaflow exhaust, CAI, KW-V2, Hotchkis swaybars, and the Torque/fan mod from them and got everything in a very timely manner - the cold air intake took about two weeks because they were out of a part but the rest of the stuff came in two days.

There were a couple of parts missing in the CAI which I was able to get from a local parts store for less than $10. This could probably have been prevented by having a parts list that the order filler checks the shipment against (are you listening, Scott?). So I ended up paying about $10 more for the CAI than I should have in addition to the time / hassle. Other than that, everything has been timely and they have always mailed an invoice for my records (once they emailed and mailed it).

I will probably have them do the LSD and the P & P heads when I am down in the area because they have been good to work with. In fact, Scott returned my call later the same day when I was missing the two parts for my CAI. Hopefully he sees this post and is able to help you to your satisfaction assuming those expectations are all reasonable.

I purchased a torque/fan mod and O2 simulator. The sims didn't work and I have called numerous times. I talked to a gentleman named Mike who said that all the testing hadn't been done on the early units and he would have Scott call me. After several weeks I called again and left a message for Scott. Then I called and talked to Kevin who said he would have Scott call that afternoon. But still no one has called. I don't want a refund, I just want my ckeck engine light to go stay off.

Wow here we go. So many vendors beginning to bite the bullet with customer service. (Not that I have bought anything from these vendors on here) On the srtforums there is a guy that has taken 40k and not delivered to many people.

Ekool why not put a trader rating on here like on the srtforums?

I am amazed at the number of vendor complaints that I see on various forums, seems to be a lot more common now than it was a few years ago. Working retail most of my life I understand that issues come up on "both sides", but not addressing customer complaints in a timely manner can bring a company down faster than just about anything. The amount of business lost by the negative publicity, especially today with the widespread use of the internet, is unmeasurable.

What is most baffling is the amount of small problems that I see mishandled, problems that might take 5 minutes and a few dollars to fix, but yet are thrown aside with lame excuses that just don't cut it. As the old saying goes, satisfied customers tell a few people about their experience with a company but unsatisfied ones tell everyone.

I think the vendors must not be prepared for the volume created from these forums. Everytime a new vender with a cool product comes on line the board lights up and orders flow in.

more like it

I could be wrong here , but I don't think so . Everytime I see one of these GSM posts creep up , I see this excellent response from Scott. No matter how hard the slam(certainly not the case in this thread) the response is proffessional , courteous and self-effacing . He seems to see that something fell through the cracks(sometimes way through) , appologizes for it and hopefully takes care of it. Other venders(only one comes to mind) should take note of this bussiness strategy and better themselves . I've never seem him lower himself to revert to name calling or any of the other sillyness that wen't on here recently. By the way I only bought the GSM fan/torque mod so far , so I don't want to be accused of being a GSM cheerleader , just simply stating an observation/opinion. I hope you're problem's get worked out and you enjoy the mod's , Mike .
