Question SRT8 Jeep or 300?

i'm going to be selling or trading my 300c and i'm still trying to decide between the two. the lower prices and looks of the srt 300's are tempting but the jeep is making it a hard decision. anyone have some drive time with the jeep? i can't decide. i might just put a deposit down on an 07 jeep but if the right priced 300 comes along i'll go with that.

As jacksonjw81 stated the vehicles are obviously very different and both have "advantages" and "disadvantages" when comparing the two. The 300 is going to give you a better ride and better mileage for starters, but the Jeep is an absolute kick to drive. Its launching power is simply undescribable and of course if you have to haul cargo at times you have the room. A lot of the features and options are similar, like the nav radio, dual AC and such. For '07 the Jeep will offer the rear camera, factory remote start and an improved "soft-touch instrument panel.

I would highly recommend that before you make your final decision to try and take a test drive in the Jeep. Having the 300C you are already familiar with its overall driveability, and for a more exacting comparision you should also test drive the 300C SRT8 if you haven't already. If you are looking at '07 models I don't think that the price is going to be all that different. A fully loaded '07 Jeep MSRP's around $46k with no GG tax. If you can find an '06 model with EP pricing you are looking at around $40-41k. I know 2006 300C SRT8's have been dealing in some areas for well under $40k. Decisions, decisions!

I drove both and they felt comparable in speed, the 300 felt better in cornering. The things that swung me over to the 300 srt8 from my 300c were the rear leg room, I am 6'6" and tried to fit in the back of the Jeep and it was a No go for a long haul or any decent trip. NO HID light option for the Jeep, and the whip style attenna) small thing but for 40K+ I want an antenna in the window. The jeep is sweet looking though, the other reason was my wife has a Pacifica and there wasn't a reason to really have 2 SUV's

I think the Jeep will go the same route as the SRT Ram (discontinued), because you can't use it for the purpose intended, given it's name --- Jeep. Can't take it off road, can't tow much with it --- it's just a hot rod SUV. On the other hand, the 300SRT can be used for the purpose intended, plus it's a hot rod.

Given that, I would have had an SRT Jeep if the wife hadn't put the brakes on the idea, injecting some wisdom in the equation.

My biggest reason against the Jeep was the interior. I'm just not a fan of Jeep interiors. I know the 300's could use a little tweak but the Jeeps could really use a big change IMO.

????

I can't believe we're comparing a SUV with a regular sedan.

How is this a problem? At least go apples to oranges!
