Is 3 1/4" the normal size for the 6.1L throttle body ?

Not sure why you're asking......What is that a pic of? The manifold looks dark like the 5.7.

Its a picture of my throttle body. It's mounted to my 6.1L motor. I wanna know what the diameter of the throttle body is, thats supposed to be on the 6.1L.

Because if I have a 5.7L throttle body mounted to my car someonething is wrong, very wrong

Same part number for both the 5.7 and the 6.1.

Okay...I'm still confused here....Are you saying you swapped your throttle body and are wondering if you have one from a 5.7, or are you saying that's your stock un-tampered with throttle body and you think the factory put a 5.7 throttle body on????

Either way it doesn't matter, because as Bo pointed out. The 5.7 and 6.1 have the same throttle body anyway. Hope that answers your question.

...which makes a little sense, considering that the 6.1 is a bored out 5.7...?

Yes I was thinking they were different, I don't know why. I was wondering if I had the wrong one on my car, BUT since they are the same. It's all good. Thanks guys.
