thank you MF

I'd be very cautious about gears, these cars are looking at everything and freak out easily!

Some of the beta testers buy in and post up!

As long as the gears match the ratio's the computer has been programmed with....it shouldnt be a problem. Everything should work fine as long as the comp is happy...its just up to someone to make the gears in a ratio that the computer understands. I'll definately be in line for the 1st gear ratio changes that are available...hopefully in the 3.9 - 4.11 bracket...although 3.7's are close enough.

Didn't GSM run 26-27" tall drag radials on thier Magnum? effectively changing the final ratio to about 3.35-3.23 and no "freaking out"...we need to see where the "freaking out" occurs.

But, since the 3.06 are the only gears that the SRT comes with, and 2.87 for the 5.7 why would DCX program any other ones? Its not like the car is going search its files for a match, its just going to cry foul and put you in limp mode.

Maybe there is a range...there has to be...GSM didn't have any issues with the DR's they used.

Thanks for that. Likely accurate, too.

Beta testers, buy now! Just post up so we can hear about it.

Seriously guys, this is one sophisticated driveline with so much tech in it it's scary. It's not a 69 Chevelle. I want some gears too, but somebody has to do more than just post some pricing before they get my money!
