NEW TIRES! PROXES 4 in a 275/40/20

(Mods, I also posted this in tire/wheel discussion, but felt it would be very good info for the SRT8 people here.)
Just wanted to share with everyone here the info that you can get the Toyo Proxes 4 in a 275/40/20 for the SRT8. This is the size that DCX should have put on our cars in the first place. At 33000km, my RSAs were toast and it was time for new rubber. This is the perfect upsize as the tire diameter is almost exactly the same as stock. Initial feedback is that it is a great tire, lots of additional grip in the braking and handling department. A little louder at highway speeds, but I am being fussy here... The great thing is that I paid $798.00 out the door and on the road for these meats. Everyone that has seen them has commented that they look awesome as well. Bought em from Belle Tire in Novi, Mi. If you guys/gals are looking for new rubber, look into these tires. They are a steal for this size! Before I pulled into the tire shop, I annihilated the stock tires with several burnouts and powerslides in an empty parking lot. A couple clips of the fun for those interested...

Pictures of the 275's on the rear!
I have been thinking about doing the same thing to my 670 mile new tires so I can put 275's on the rear...

I might make it by tomorrow. On vacation next week, so if I dont swing by tomorrow, I'll see ya in a week or so. These are a smokin deal for us Windsor guys as I was quoted $1500-1600 on the Canadian side. I like to support our local businesses as much as possible, but I am not leaving $600 on the table for a tire shop to scoop up.

No rubbing at all, about a 1/4 inch+ from the sidewall to the spindle.Top of tire to spindle is the sam eas stock since the diameter is the same.

It's almost time for me to replace the tires on my 300CSRT-8. Could you please post some pics of your ride with the new Proxes on it? Thanks....

Weight of a Proxes vs. RSA?

What's the weight difference betwween the two tires? If I recall correctly, the new Falcons weighed 2 - 3 lbs. more per tire than a Goodyear RSA.
