Anyone have clear bra on their SRT8?

I was just wondering if anyone has a clear bra on their 300C SRT8? If so, does it truly help? Contimplating one because of the drives back and forth from Houston to Austin. Just leaving the confines of a city in TX, you end up with a front end smeared with with bugs and resulting paint dings -- especially in the summer times.

I do, and it is the best investment I ever did. It protects the full front including lights and fogs, I also let them do a piece on the front of my roof.

Fantastic and worth every penny. Here are a couple of recent threads on the subject.

Clear bra satisfaction, and a sigh of relief.

Thought you'd SLIP by without getting your "I've Gotta Brand New SRT-8 21 Dancing Banana Salute"? Bananaman sees all, knows all.

Thanks for all the info... I'm making the run to Austin tomorrow, and I'll see how the SRT8 holds up with the bugs and road debris. On the other threads that SRT8DANNO provided -- some people claimed they haven't had a need for one... I shall see after this weekend's trip.

Thanks for the the dancing bananas HealeyRick; those things are crazy!!! Would have bought a 2005 one, but I was out of the country... My foot waited a year until it could slam down on a SRT8 pedal. Defintiely well worth the wait; these things rock

je_sc;

Good luck on your trip to Austin. I live up here in New Braunfels and we are having a damn butterfly infestation. Spent the day detailing the new baby only to go down the street and you are practically driving through a damn "rain shower" of butterflys. Sure made the fresh new Zaino detail look like hell. Not to bad on the interstate, but stay away from any back roads or you will be cleaning all kinds of crap off of the front and the radiator.

je_sc and 96SS, I live in Spring Branch (just west of je_sc) and I have the clear bra on my 300 CSRT. You still have to get the bugs off of the clear bra pretty quickly or they will eat into the clear bra itself. The black SRT-8 was a great idea in Denver, it is a little more challenging down here in this 100+ degree heat. Maybe I should have gone for the silver one.
